ER Urgent Care Board Revamps Management Team

MIAMI — Mark Solomon, president of ER Urgent Care Holdings, Inc., which operates ER Urgent Care Centers in South Florida, announced this week that its board of directors is in the process of revamping the ERUC management team. Progress already has been made with the signing of a new radiologist group, which will expand ERUC’s current X-ray capacity, according to an ERUC news release.

“As we experience a shortage of family care physicians in Florida and nationwide, urgent care centers have become a vital part of the healthcare system,” he said. “In Florida we are experiencing a 63-percent shortfall in the amount of primary care physicians.”

Citing worldwide economic conditions, Solomon also announced that ERUC extended shareholders preferred share exchange to Dec. 15.
