Solantic Urgent Care Issues Health Debit Cards

07/25/2008

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Solantic Walk-In Urgent Care, which owns 19 urgent care centers in north, central and south Florida, will issue discount debit cards to Orlando-area patients this summer, the Orlando Business Journal reported today.

The cards will cost $299 and will buy $400 worth of care. The card will expire after 12 months.

Solantic plans to market the card to businesses that can’t afford employee health insurance but that want to offer some type of health benefit. The cards will be available to anyone and multiple people can use the same card.
